Bonus : Most components of our Rooftop Tent are interchangeable! That includes the canvas.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE :
Regularly air the tent out, after each trip. Do not leave for any longer than 2 weeks!
Give your tent a thorough clean between trips.
Check over the tent regularly.
CLEANING :
Use a soft brush and cold water to clean the canvas.
Avoid using any harsh chemicals
Store the tent dry to prevent moisture damage.
MOULD REMOVAL :
Let the mould areas dry.
Brush off surface mould with a stiff-bristled brush.
Vacuum the area.
Treat with a canvas mould remover or a water/vinegar mix (always patch test first).
REDUCING CONDENSATION :
Keep windows open for airflow on cold nights - balance internal and external temperature.
Use a fan to help circulate the air.
Regularly air out the tent if not in use for long periods of time (2 weeks).
Consider removing and storing the mattress separately.

The tent comes with 2 x c-channels that run front to back on the base of the tent. (710mm from centre to centre of the channels).
Using the 8 x plates, 8 x coach bolts and 8 x nylock nuts supplied, slide through 4 x sets of plates with the bolts (2 x bolts per plate) at each end and sit it over your fixing point on your roof rack or bars. Using the remainder 4 x plates, attach them underneath your fixing points and line it up with your bolts, and use the nylock nuts to secure. 13mm ratchet spanner supplied.
* We recommend using anti-seize lube/spray before attaching the nuts to avoid them seizing on the bolt. *
