Shipping policy
Bull Proof Shipping Policy
Last updated: 6th Aug 2026
Bull Proof ships all products big and small, Australia-wide. Please read this policy before selecting shipping at checkout.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping within Australia
We ship throughout Australia, including regional and remote areas. Delivery method and price depends on the product size, weight, destination, carrier coverage and site access.
Regional, remote, island or restricted-access locations may cost more, take longer or require delivery to a depot or collection point.
We do not currently ship internationally, but we welcome enquiries from customers who would like this service in future.
Shipping costs and quotes
Shipping is usually calculated automatically at checkout. If checkout displays “delivery unavailable,” it often means we do not have a fixed rate for your location - not that we cannot ship there. Email or call us with the products required and delivery postcode for a personalised quote.
If an automatic rate appears unusually high, contact us before purchasing and we will try to obtain a better custom rate.
Due to changing fuel levies and freight costs, manual shipping quotes are valid for three calendar days unless stated otherwise. Quotes paid after this period may need to be updated. If the price changes, you may accept the new quote, choose another delivery option or cancel the affected order for a refund before dispatch.
Extra services such as residential delivery, tailgate unloading, timed delivery, redelivery, storage or restricted-access delivery may incur additional charges.
Carriers
-
Small and medium items: Generally Australia Post or other select couriers.
-
Large, heavy or palletised items: A trusted freight company selected according to the item and destination. (Mainfreight, Jet Couriers, Border Express, TNT etc).
We may change carriers where required to provide a suitable service.
If you want to use a specific transport company—or arrange your own freight—contact us before purchasing. Do not book a collection without our approval and confirmed collection details. Unapproved bookings may be refused, and any resulting missed-pickup or rebooking charges will be your responsibility.
Processing and delivery times
Our usual dispatch time for in-stock parcel items is 1-2 business days. Made-to-order, customised, backordered and freight items may take longer. Any product-specific lead time shown on the product page also applies.
Delivery estimates begin after the carrier collects your order and are not guaranteed unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Delays may occur due to distance, carrier networks, peak periods, weather, road closures or other events outside our control.
Orders may arrive in separate shipments or through different carriers.
Tracking
Every shipment receives a tracking number, tracking link or carrier consignment reference at no extra cost. We normally email this on the day your order is booked for collection.
Tracking detail varies by carrier:
-
Australia Post generally provide regular online updates.
-
Freight tracking may update less often and may show only major depot movements.
-
An estimated arrival date is not an exact delivery or collection time.
Tracking may not activate until the carrier scans the shipment. If there is no update after the estimated arrival date, contact us and we will follow it up.
Delivery addresses
You must provide a complete delivery address, email and phone number. Check these details carefully before ordering and contact us immediately if anything is incorrect. We cannot guarantee changes after processing or dispatch.
PO boxes and Parcel Lockers are suitable only for eligible Australia Post items. Courier and freight deliveries require a physical street address - this can be a depot facility.
Reasonable redirection, redelivery or return charges caused by incorrect customer-supplied information will be passed on to the consumer.
Large-item delivery
Large items—including rooftop tents, large awnings, safes and similar products—are delivered to your nearest suitable freight depot by default, unless another service is requested, quoted and paid for. Automatic checkout rates for large items are based on depot delivery unless clearly stated otherwise.
Depot delivery
After booking, we will provide the available carrier, depot, tracking and estimated-arrival details.
The depot will normally contact you when the order is ready. You must collect it during the depot’s operating hours and follow its identification, vehicle, loading and safety requirements. Each depot operates differently and may have a limited holding period.
Bring a suitable vehicle and equipment to secure and transport the item safely.
Business delivery
Business delivery is available by arrangement. The business must have suitable unloading equipment, such as a forklift or loading dock, for large palletised items.
If unloading equipment is unavailable, tell us before booking so we can quote a truck with a tailgate loader. Tailgate services cost extra.
The driver will park at the nearest safe and practical point. You are responsible for unloading unless an unloading service is included in the booking.
Businesses that operate from a residence are classified as a RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY therefore are charged accordingly.
Home delivery
Home delivery for large items is available only by prior arrangement and is curb-side delivery unless confirmed otherwise in writing.
The driver will stop at the nearest safe and practical point, and you are responsible for moving the item from there. Tell us before booking whether you have unloading equipment. If not, a tailgate service may be required at an additional cost.
An adult must be present to receive and sign for the delivery unless another arrangement is approved.
Access and unloading
Tell us before booking about anything that may affect delivery, including:
-
narrow, steep or unsealed roads and driveways;
-
gates, low clearances or limited turning space;
-
residential, rural, farm, mine or construction-site access;
-
booking, induction or safety requirements; and
-
the need for a forklift, tailgate, crane or extra labour.
The driver may refuse an unsafe or unsuitable delivery. Redelivery, waiting, storage or special-equipment charges caused by undisclosed access issues, missing unloading equipment or nobody being available will be your responsibility.
Carrier notes and requests can be submitted but are not guaranteed. Clear a suitable area and have another capable person or appropriate equipment ready to move heavy items.
Authority to leave and signatures
Depending on the service, an item may require a signature, be left in a safe place, go to a collection point or require redelivery.
Authority to leave is subject to carrier rules and the driver’s safety assessment. We may require a signature for high-value or bulky goods.
If you authorise unattended delivery, you accept the additional risk of the item being left at the approved location. This does not remove any rights you have under applicable law.
Missed or failed delivery
If delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may take the order to a depot or collection point, attempt redelivery or return it to Bull Proof.
You are responsible for collecting goods within the carrier’s holding period. Reasonable redelivery, storage or return charges may apply where delivery fails because:
-
nobody was available;
-
the address or contact details were incorrect;
-
access was unsuitable or not disclosed;
-
required unloading equipment was unavailable; or
-
delivery was refused without a valid reason.
These charges do not apply where Bull Proof or the carrier caused the failed delivery.
Lost, stolen or delayed orders
Contact us promptly if an order is overdue, missing or marked delivered but cannot be found. Check safe locations, household members, reception and any carrier delivery photo first.
We will contact the carrier and investigate. Tracking can pause temporarily, and an item may reappear and continue through the network.
If the carrier confirms the shipment is lost, our usual resolution is to re-ship it. If replacement is unavailable or another remedy is required, we will provide an appropriate solution under Australian Consumer Law, which may include a refund.
If an item was correctly delivered and then stolen, our usual goodwill resolution is replacement rather than a refund, subject to availability and the circumstances. We may request reasonable supporting information. Your legal rights remain unaffected.
Damaged, incorrect or incomplete orders
Inspect freight where possible before signing. If damage or missing items are visible, note this on the carrier’s delivery record, take photos and keep all packaging.
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos. Signing without noting damage does not remove your Australian Consumer Law rights.
Depending on the circumstances, we may repair or replace the item, send missing parts, arrange collection or issue a refund.
