Refund policy

Returns & Refunds Policy

At Bull Proof, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains our 30-day change-of-mind returns process and your rights when a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept eligible change-of-mind returns within 30 days of the date you receive your order.

This includes situations where:

  • You ordered the wrong item.

  • You selected the wrong size or variant.

  • You no longer require the product.

  • You have otherwise changed your mind.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must:

  • Be returned within the 30-day return period.

  • Be unused, uninstalled and in its original condition.

  • Be returned in its original packaging.

  • Include all parts, accessories, manuals, labels and other items originally supplied.

  • Show no signs of use, assembly, installation, modification, damage or wear.

  • Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

  • Be approved for return by Bull Proof before it is sent.

Please do not return a product without first contacting us. Unauthorised returns may be delayed or refused.

Bull Proof reserves the right to inspect all returned products. A change-of-mind return may be refused if the product does not satisfy the conditions above.

2. Sale and Clearance Items

Sale, clearance and discounted products are not eligible for a change-of-mind return unless otherwise stated.

This exclusion does not apply where a product is faulty, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, does not match its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

A remedy may not be available for a fault that was clearly disclosed before purchase.

3. Incorrect or Damaged Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If you receive an incorrect product, an incomplete order or a product damaged in transit, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at sales@bullproof.com.au.

Please include:

  • Your full name and contact details.

  • Your order number.

  • A description of the issue.

  • Clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label and any visible damage.

  • Details of any missing parts or accessories.

We will assess the issue and advise you of the next steps. Do not install, modify or use an incorrect or visibly damaged product unless instructed by Bull Proof.

4. Faulty Products and Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Products must be of acceptable quality, be fit for any disclosed purpose and match their description, sample or demonstration model.

If a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose a replacement or refund. A major problem may include where the product:

  • Is unsafe.

  • Is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time.

  • Is substantially unfit for a purpose you told us about and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time.

  • Is significantly different from its description, sample or demonstration model.

  • Has a problem that would have prevented a reasonable customer from purchasing it had they known about it.

If the problem is minor, Bull Proof may choose to provide a repair within a reasonable time. If the product cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to another remedy.

Consumer guarantee rights are not limited to 30 days and may continue for a reasonable period depending on the nature, price and expected life of the product.

A remedy may not be available where:

  • The product was damaged through misuse, neglect, accident or abnormal use.

  • The product was incorrectly installed, modified or used contrary to supplied instructions.

  • The problem resulted from ordinary wear and tear.

  • You knew about the relevant fault before purchasing the product.

  • You simply changed your mind, found the product cheaper elsewhere or no longer required it, except where our 30-day change-of-mind policy applies.

Bull Proof may inspect or arrange an assessment of the product before confirming the appropriate remedy.

5. Proof of Purchase

You must provide reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Bull Proof.

Acceptable proof may include:

  • An order confirmation.

  • A tax invoice or receipt.

  • A bank or card statement identifying the transaction.

  • Another record that reasonably demonstrates the purchase.

6. Starting a Return

To request a return:

  1. Email sales@bullproof.com.au before sending the product.

  2. Include your name, contact details, order number, product details and reason for the return.

  3. Include photographs where the product is damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrectly supplied.

  4. Wait for Bull Proof to assess your request and provide return instructions.

  5. Package the approved product securely, including all components and proof of purchase.

  6. Send the product to the return address provided by our team.

Return approval confirms that we have authorised the product to be sent for assessment. It does not guarantee that a refund will be issued.

7. Return Shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return:

  • You are responsible for return shipping and any associated costs.

  • Original shipping, delivery, installation and fitting charges are not refundable.

  • You are responsible for the product until it is safely received by Bull Proof.

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

  • Bull Proof is not responsible for change-of-mind returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

For an incorrect, damaged or faulty product, Bull Proof will advise you about the appropriate return or collection arrangements. Where required by the Australian Consumer Law, Bull Proof will cover reasonable return costs or arrange collection.

Do not send a return using cash on delivery or another payment-on-receipt service unless Bull Proof has agreed to this in writing.

8. Inspection and Assessment

We will notify you after receiving the returned product.

The product will be inspected to confirm:

  • Its condition.

  • Whether all parts and accessories are included.

  • Whether it meets the requirements of this policy.

  • The nature and cause of any reported problem.

  • The appropriate remedy, if applicable.

We may contact you if further information is required.

For change-of-mind returns, Bull Proof may reject the return if the product has been used, installed, modified, damaged or returned incomplete.

9. Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

Refunds normally include the amount paid for the eligible returned product. For change-of-mind returns, shipping, delivery, installation, fitting and return freight costs are not refundable.

These exclusions do not apply where Bull Proof is required to refund or reimburse an amount under the Australian Consumer Law.

Bull Proof will process an approved refund promptly. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the funds in your account.

If you have received confirmation that a refund was processed but have not received it within a reasonable period, first contact your bank or payment provider and then email sales@bullproof.com.au.

10. Exchanges

Where an exchange is approved, replacement products are subject to availability.

For a change-of-mind exchange:

  • You may be required to pay return and replacement shipping costs.

  • You must pay any difference in price before the replacement is dispatched.

  • If the replacement costs less, the difference will be refunded or otherwise resolved as agreed.

Where a replacement is required under the Australian Consumer Law, Bull Proof will provide the applicable remedy without imposing change-of-mind return conditions.

11. Installation and Modification

Please confirm that the product is correct and suitable before installing, assembling, drilling, painting, wiring, cutting or otherwise modifying it.

A product that has been installed or modified is generally not eligible for a change-of-mind return.

This does not exclude your rights where the product is faulty, incorrectly supplied, unsafe, does not match its description or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Bull Proof is not responsible for loss or damage caused by improper installation, unauthorised modification, misuse or failure to follow product instructions, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
