Free Standing 180 Awning with Built-In LED Lighting

Instant, reliable shade for your 4x4 or rooftop tent. The Bull Proof Free Standing 180 Awning has a welded A-frame, a reinforced backing plate and telescopic support poles built into each arm, so it holds up when the weather turns. The lights run the full length of the awning.

Mounting to a Rooftop Tent

Fitment

The flat pack brackets suit roof rack channels (square bolts) or clamping to bars (metal plates and long bolts). Not sure it will suit your rack? Send us an enquiry and we'll confirm before you order.

Installation

Prefer to have it fitted for you? We can install it at our Pakenham workshop. Send us an enquiry to book it in.

1. Assemble each bracket to your desired height with 6 x 20mm M8 bolts and 6 x nylock nuts.
2. Fix each bracket to your roof rack or bars with at least 2 fixing points.
3. Slide at least 4 T-bolts through the awning channels on each bracket (2 top, 2 bottom). Match them to the bracket slots at your chosen height and secure with the washers and nylock nuts.

Care and Maintenance

• Unzip the awning all the way to the end before pulling it out so the zips don't snag.
• Tension it evenly at both tensioning points.
• Fold the rain run off poles down and check the canvas isn't caught on the hinge before packing away.
• Clean with warm water and a sponge or soft brush. Use standard car wash solution on the transit bag. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Air it out after use in damp conditions, and check brackets, hinges and bolts for tightness.
