Things you should know
All Accessories, Already Included
After making a big purchase like a RTT, nothing is more disappointing then when you realise you have to spend MORE money just to get the necessary accessories for it. Our tents already have all your core things included.
Wide-step telescopic ladder (super comfy on bare feet!)
Rechargeable Magnetic Fan
Shoe Bag Storage
Roof Bar Set (for extra external storage)
Side bracket Set (ready for a solar panel)
Gas strut Lockers (for those that like safety reassurance)
Condensation Mat
Power & Lighting Pre-Fitted (ready to go out the box)
Rainfly poles & adapter bracket (to suit wrap around awnings)
& stainless mounting hardware of course!
Is it hard to set up & pack down?
Think of it as opening up a standard clamshell tent, but x2. Set up in just under a minute, and same to pack down.
Note : You can pull down the top half of the tent from inside (this makes it so much easier for pack up!)
BONUS : You can have the tent only half set up if stopping for a quick overnighter - or if in extreme winds, you can pull down the top half for better aerodynamic when facing the closed side towards to wind.
Benefits of The Canvas
We’ve selected a premium PU-coated canvas to create a rooftop tent that is lighter, easier to maintain and better suited to all-round use. Compared with traditional swag-style canvas, it offers :
Lighter overall weight
Faster drying times
Excellent waterproofing
Less maintenance
Easier cleaning
Superior light-blocking for a darker sleeping space
Easier replacement if the canvas is ever damaged
& yes it also means we can make the tent more affordable
However, not all PU coatings are created equal. Our canvas blend uses a premium cross-linked PU coating, designed to expand and contract through temperature changes, helping resist cracking and deterioration over time.
The non-porous coating also provides excellent UV and colour stability while helping repel water, oils, dirt and other outdoor elements. Internally, it creates a clean, smooth finish with impressive light-blocking performance.
Every canvas has its advantages and trade-offs. Our PU-coated canvas has been specifically selected to provide an excellent balance of durability, weather protection, manageable weight and everyday convenience. Making it a dependable all-round choice for aussie campers.
Warranty & Replacement Parts
Accidents happen - we totally get it. Fortunately every part of this Rooftop Tent is replaceable, whether that be a bolt on part, canvas or internal component - we can get you the needed replacement parts, whether a warranty fix, or an extra part you want to purchase.
Better still? If your travelling AUS and have a mishap with your set up on the road, we can ship your replacement anywhere in the country so you can stress less!
Backed by our 24 Month Warranty & Never ending customer support.
How do we compare to other brands?
Looking for a rooftop tent can be overwhelming, with so many options, that after awhile, all look the same. We can't speak for other brands, but we can speak for ourselves. THIS is what sets us apart.
Product Build Quality (the finishing touches speak for themselves)
Quality Selected Materials
Consistency - a product built to a consistent standard
Every Batch undergoes a quality control check by our own employee
Jam packed with all the creature comfort features & accessories

Why a rooftop tent?
Rooftop tents have been quick to gain popularity, and it's clear why! They provide a comfy, spacious & elevated sleeping space when on the road - taking only 30 sec to set up. As long as your car can fit in a space - you're all set.
"What a ripper, it’s huge, comfortable and robust. Fantastic product that doesn’t cost the earth. The girls at Bull Proof were amazing to deal with, they really did everything they could to get my setup installed the way I wanted it. Service is impeccable, these lady’s are a credit to this industry."

"Best value for money tent on the market. If you’re after a wide roomy tent with a quality ladder and plenty of comfort you are not going to do better. I’m 6’2” so room was important and you could swing a cat in this tent. Plenty of options and features pockets etc."

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 9 reviews.
Bloody love this tent! We haven’t actually managed to get away in it yet, but we’ve had it fully set up and ready to go and we’re absolutely stoked with it.
Inside, we’ve got the EcoLux bedding from you guys + a doona in a vacuum-sealed bag, another blanket folded neatly in the middle, and we’ve added a Tortoise Shell mattress topper for extra comfort. The pillows will need to stay in the car, but hopefully that gives someone else an idea of what you can realistically fit inside and still close the tent.
We could probably squeeze in a bit more without the topper, but honestly, the comfort upgrade is worth the compromise. The doona is easy enough to vacuum-seal again at camp, so the setup should work really well for us.
The quality of the tent is fantastic, the whole team has been awesome, and Jacqui has been incredibly helpful answering all my questions. They installed the whole kit for us as well.
Absolutely love it and cannot wait to finally take it away!
Store owner replied:
Thanks for such an awesome and detailed review Michelle. So glad to have been able to get you all set up. Enjoy and happy camping!:)
We couldn’t be happier with our experience with the Bullproof family! From the very beginning, the customer service was absolutely fantastic. The team were so generous, welcoming and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. Jaqui is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the whole range and any questions we had were answered with no hesitation or bullshit!
We absolutely adore our new XLZ RTT! It’s incredibly spacious, has fantastic blackout, and is so easy and quick to set up — exactly what we were looking for. It’s already made camping so much more comfortable!
A huge thank you to the whole Bullproof team for making the experience so easy and enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
If you’re looking for great products, amazing service and a team that genuinely cares about their customers, definitely check out Bullproof!

Thank you for such a sweet and detailed review Bella! We appreciate it so much. Happy travels you guys!!:)
Trying something different. Got trailer to match dimensions of roof top tent. Pic is of my trailer that arrived the same day. Was good timing as to pick up the Bull Proof gear. Getting decked out with power supply, 270 awning, water tank, shower awning, storage drawers , kitchen/pantry and whatever a few more beers can imagine. Customised to our cargo and needs. Cost effective idea that will have real bang for small bucks.
What a ripper, it’s huge, comfortable and robust.

Store owner replied:
Thanks so much for the review Frank! Great photos too. Appreciate your kind words. Enjoy your new set up.
Excellent RTT, used it the other weekend and it started bucketing down rain but we were warm and dry with tons of room and the power and lights are an awesome addition.
The removable rain flys made drying the tent easy. This has got to be one of the best RTTs out there.

Haha love the cat reference! Thanks for the review. Enjoy:)
Fantastic customer service from start to completion, always available once delivered with any instructions on installation, was supplied in a heavy duty box set up with all items easy to understand plus a online installation guide, love it best value I’ve seen in the market, you won’t go wrong.
